I've started my christmas wishlist.....

I would really like this for my dining room. I'm so in love right now with any illustrations on black. Usually I drawn to bright and airy, but I just love this print...it's kind of sexy in a way. They had lots of other to choose from, but this one is my fav.

Come on in...

We moved! Just right down the street in Greenfield actually. Here's the first sneak peek at our dining room which I plan on using as a space I can meet with clients for She + Him Photography. I am loving our rotating wall of art (to the right, and it is currently displaying my sons first ever paintings..hee), the Camilla Engman print, the glow and coziness of the wood stove, and the new pendant light from Zia Priven that I've been obsessed with for years now. It's like a big soft box and everyone looks just a little more glamorous sitting beneath it!!

When you have 50 ponies stuffed in your closet....

Posted on: Wednesday, July 15, 2009

My sister is getting married this month and her husband Steven is going to move into her house sometime soon....and I'm thinking he might want to tone down the my sister's Briar collection that lines the shelves above the widows that wrap around their living room. I like a little horse figurine here and there, but when you sit on the living room couch there are literally about 100 horse eyes looking down at you. I think she might miss them if she closeted them away where they would be forgotten, soooooo.....we did a little shoot of her and her lifetime collection of ponies and I'll give her a nice print hang in the living room. Here's a peek at a couple frames...

My mom has a little snow globe collection and I can remember playing with them for hours when I was little. About 10 years ago I was wondering through Grand Central Station and I saw these amazing pictures of snow globe scenes...very odd scenes, yet beautiful. And it has bugged me from time to time whenever I see a snow globe that I had no idea who these artist were so I could look at their work again. Well I found them!
Go here to see an extensive collection of their amazing work.

They shot Kate Moss's summer line for Topshop and I'm loving the softness of the colors and whatever they did the get this blurred shadow effect is really quite cool.

Makool : i love

I searched under wedding dresses on Etsy (for you Marjan) and this designers site popped up. I didn't see a wedding dress but I liked everything else I saw...including the photography. I really enjot the warm faded sunlight of this image. Find it here:

Just a wee blurb about Blurb...

Posted on: Sunday, July 5, 2009

I Love Love Love Blurb. Finally a way to make good quality books relatively cheaply and the layout is so easy to follow to make one. This will be a great tool to provide clients with books from out photo shoots. Here's a little book that I made for our family out of our vacation to Ogunquit Maine. Follow this link to see the first 15 pages of the book:

My bed today....

Posted on: Thursday, June 25, 2009

Everyone loves my bed. That's right...MY BED! Although my hubby shares it with me...I have lovingly selected all the textured, soft, pretty linens & pillows that make it an experience. Look at these two completely luxuriating in it! It's extra special for Boris to be in it...he's really not supposed to be in it (stinky french bulldog). But I didn't have the heart to wake him. Plus if I did wake him he'd probably wake up Miles in the process of getting off the bed with all his snorting and disgruntled huffing and puffing. How can two little beings take up so much room? Its a king size bed!
My favorite sheets that are on the bed in the picture actually came from Target. They are the bamboo / cotton blend and they are better than any sheets I have ever owned and they were relatively cheap. I splurged on the duvet set from Dwell, but it was totally worth it. It's a pearly white, crisp poplin....great for the summer.

Thank you Natalie and JJ for being such great models and letting us be a part of your celebration...you guys were so laid back and relaxed!
The whole wedding had a great vibe to it and you guys are so obviously very adored by all your friends and family. You guys have such good looking friends! I loved all the flowers blooming in the gardens and the evergreen glen was such a special little place.
I am so happy with the pictures....they have a dreamy, happy, fairytale quality to them and I think they are very much your style.
Braden and I wish you ALL THE BEST on your new adventures out west. Drop us note sometime and say hi when you get to San Fran!
